Decks & Railings done right
A deck is only as good as what's under it. We start with the footings, framing, and flashing at the house, then build the surface and railings you'll actually see and use.
Whether you want a simple ground-level deck, a second-story deck with stairs, or new railings on an existing porch, you'll get a written estimate that spells out the size, materials, and scope before work starts.
Materials & styles
Not sure which is right? Choose “Undecided” on the quote form and we’ll price the options side by side.
Pressure-Treated
Classic wood decking and framing. Takes stain well and is easy to repair.
Composite
No staining or sealing. Resists fading and splintering, with many colors and grain patterns.
PVC Decking
Fully synthetic boards that shrug off moisture. A good fit for low decks and shaded yards.
Railings
Matched to your decking and code height, including stair rails and porch railings.

Other services
Do I need a permit for a new deck?
Most new decks and many rebuilds need a permit from your town or village. Requirements vary by municipality, so we confirm what your address needs during the estimate.
Composite or pressure-treated — which is better?
Pressure-treated costs less up front and is easy to repair. Composite costs more but skips the yearly staining and sealing. We'll walk through both with real numbers for your deck.
Can you put new boards on my existing deck frame?
Often, yes. If the framing is sound we can resurface with new decking and railings. We inspect the framing first and tell you honestly if it needs to be replaced.
How long does a deck take to build?
It depends on size, height, materials, and permits. Your estimate includes an expected schedule so you know what to plan for.
